What's in a Name?

Ah, this is for any of you people wondering one of two things (or both):

1) Where did Raichu get it's name?

and/or

2) What kind of name is "Thunder Rhapsody" for a Raichu shrine?!

Going in numerical order, I'll do #1 first.  How Raichu got it's name is simple, really.  Rai means "Lightning" or "Thunder"
(I think) in Japanese,  and Chu means "Squeak", as in a mouse.  An example for "Rai" is Raiden from Mortal Kombat, the electricity dude.
  Two examples of "Chu" would be Chuchu, the pink rodent thing in Xenogears, and the Bombchus of The Legend of Zelda
series. So:
Rai (Thunder/Lightning) + Chu (Squeak/Mouse) = Raichu (Thunder Mouse)

Easy, right?
Now for #2... That's even easier.

The reason for Thunder Rhapsody's name is... well... because it sounds cool.  I was having a lot of trouble thinking of a
name for a Raichu shrine, so my friend Pikablu the Gadget Guy (yes, he knows that Pikablu is NOT Marril/Mariru's name)
helped by rattling off over a hundred names.  Eventually I decided that I liked Thunder Rhapsody the best.  Or if you want
another explanation...

Thunder (from the attack and Raichu's name) + Rhapsody ( happiness) = Thunder Rhapsody (the name of this website)

Well, in almost all pictures of Raichu, it's happy?  So, I guess it makes sense. X3;
